Our Story

Jose began his insurance journey in 2009, working exclusively with Aflac and serving businesses large and small throughout the Jacksonville area. He discovered how much he loved serving his community—helping people, building relationships, and getting to know business owners throughout North Florida.

Jose and Marie met in 2012, while Marie was pursuing a different career path, and they were inseparable from day one. It didn’t take long for them to realize they shared something important: a genuine love for helping people and serving their community.

In 2014, Marie decided to join Jose in the insurance world at Aflac. They loved having the opportunity to work side by side and quickly became two of the top Aflac agents in North Florida. Along the way, they gained invaluable experience in the insurance industry and naturally became the people their friends, family, and clients turned to when they had questions or needed guidance.

As those relationships grew, so did the need for help beyond supplemental insurance. Jose and Marie often found themselves referring people elsewhere for health insurance, life insurance, and Medicare. Too often, those same people came back feeling confused, underserved, or like they had been pushed toward a decision rather than truly helped.

Jose and Marie believed their clients, friends, and family deserved better. They deserved to feel heard, to understand their options, and to have someone in their corner without feeling pressured or swayed in any particular direction.

That belief became the heart behind J&M Benefit Solutions.

Today, Jose and Marie are able to help their clients through many different insurance stages of life – from workplace and individual health coverage to life and supplemental insurance, and especially through the transition into Medicare. Their goal has remained simple: to be a trusted, local resource their clients can turn to for guidance, answers, and continued support year after year.

You can often find Jose and Marie out in the community, connecting with neighbors and participating in local events. With an office conveniently located on Jacksonville’s Westside, they welcome clients to come see them—or, when it’s easier, they’re happy to come to you. Wherever you meet, their goal is the same: to make getting the guidance you need feel personal and comfortable.
